Sheep CRC Updates and Conference 2010

The Sheep CRC will be holding Sheep CRC Updates in regional centres during the first half of 2010 and a Sheep CRC Conference in October 2010. The schedule of dates and venues is shown below.

The Sheep CRC will also be holding a variety of training workshops across Australia -  please keep an eye on our events page and watch out for email bulletins for further details.

Sheep CRC Updates - at regional centres (February - April 2010)

Many new and exciting results are now in from across the Sheep CRC portfolio of Ewe and weaner management; Flystrike management; Worm management; Meat quality; Wool quality; Precision sheep production and Genetics.

Attend an update to:

• Hear the current industry outlook
• Hear and see Sheep CRC results
• Learn how you can apply these results on-farm
• Understand what difference they could make for you

For the more in-depth topics we will also describe how you can participate in training or gain more information.

Terrific feedback was received from our 2008/09 Open Days. This year we will have even more results to offer as we are halfway through our 7 year research term.

Updates will typically be held from mid-morning to mid-afternoon (except Katanning, which is in the afternoon).

Sheep CRC Conference - Adelaide (20-21 October 2010)

Remember the Sheep CRC Conference held in Orange in 2006? If you were unable to attend and see for yourself, this was another great success judging from the feedback we have received from producers and industry service providers.

Modelled on that event, our 2010 Sheep CRC Conference will be held over 2 days in Adelaide where we will welcome sheep producers, consultants, service providers, scientists and extension staff from across Australia.

The program will cover our portfolio in more depth than our 'Updates'. It will be a great opportunity to get your teeth into the detail and meet with a wide cross-section of people from industry.
